New Trailer for The Conjuring Spin-Off Annabelle

Warner Bros. have released a new trailer for Annabelle, a prequel to 2013’s The Conjuring. In the movie a young couple, played by Ward Horton and Annabelle Wallis, come into possession of the vintage doll which soon becomes possessed by a demon after their home is invaded by a satanic cult. The couple move house but Annabelle somehow follows them and begins to torment their existence.

John R. Leonetti is on directing duties after working as a cinematographer on The Conjuring, while James Wan, who directed that movie is on production duties this time around. Annabelle will also star Alfre Woodard, Eric Ladin, Tony Amendola and Michelle Romano. It hits cinemas on October 10. You can watch the trailer below.

Digimon All-Star Rumble Set for November Release

Digimon All-Star Rumble, PS3, Xbox 360, Bandai Namco

Bandai Namco has announced Digimon All-Star Rumble for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is a brawler in the vein of 2002’s Digimon Rumble Arena, although this time up to four players can join the fight.

There will be 12 base characters available to choose from including many “familiar faces” to fans of the series. Including the digivolved forms of each character there will be a total of 32 forms to play as.

The developer promises that the game will be accessible to “players of all skill levels” so it could be the perfect party game for Digimon fans.

The game is due for release on November 11, check out the announcement trailer below.

Second Teaser for Bioware’s Mystery Project

Bioware has released a second live-action teaser for it’s as yet unknown new project. The new video, titled “You’ve Been Chosen: Spark Teaser” hints at supernatural elements for the new title which may be called Shadow Realms, whereas the first video had strong horror vibes. Check out the teaser below.

There may be a clue in the video’s description which reads:

Cologne is where  the annual games convention Gamescom takes place so perhaps Bioware is planning to reveal more  about the project on that date. Be sure to check back for more updates as we get them.

The Witcher 3 Gets New Official Release Date Along with Trailer

CD Projekt Red today announced the new release date for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game is now scheduled to launch on February 24th 2015 on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The promising RPG was recently delayed from it’s original release date of fall 2014.

Along with this announcement an epic new trailer was released which you an watch below.

CD Projekt Red also confirmed pre-order bonuses for the Collector’s Edition of the game. This will include a polystone statue of Geralt battling a Griffin, a Witcher’s medallion, a two-hundred page artbook, an exclusive SteelBook and collector’s boxes to store it all in!

The standard edition of the game already includes some impressive extras including the official soundtrack, a map of the game-world, stickers and a copy of “Witcher Universe – The Compendium”.

Also, those who pre-order the game from the developer’s site, GOG.com, will get a Witcher comic by Dark Horse, a free wallpaper and a copy of Neverwinter Nights. Not only that but if you bought either of the previous two games in the series you will get a five percent discount, regardless of which format you buy it on.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate E3 Trailer

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Nintendo 3DS

Capcom has released an official trailer for Monster Hunter Ultimate 4 which the developer says will be released in the west in ‘early 2015’ on the Nintendo 3DS.

The game will offer new locales to explore and hundreds of quests to take part in. It will also be the first handheld entry in the series to offer online multiplayer in addition to a local wireless option.

Mortal Kombat X Announced with Trailer

Warner Bros has today announced Mortal Kombat X for both current and previous generation platforms. The announcement came via a trailer which features a typically brutal battle between Scorpion and Sub-Zero in an atmospheric forest. The trailer shows the return of X-Ray attacks from the 2011 iteration of the game. Players can also interact with the environment, for example pulling branches off trees to use as weapons.

The official description of the game reads:

Fueled by next-gen technology, Mortal Kombat X combines unparalleled, cinematic presentation with all new gameplay to deliver the most brutal Kombat experience ever. For the first time ever, Mortal Kombat X gives players the ability to choose from multiple variations of each character impacting both strategy and fighting style. And with a new fully-connected gameplay experience, players are launched into a persistent online contest where every fight matters in a global battle for supremacy.

A new Mortal Kombat game has been rumoured for a while. A poster for the game surfaced online recently, and earlier today a listing for the game appeared on Amazon UK.

Mortal Kombat X will be released in 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. More of the game will be shown at E3.

Wolfenstein: The New Order Launch Trailer

Bethesda Softworks has unveiled the launch trailer for alternate reality first-person shooter, Wolfenstein: The New Order. The game, developed by MachineGames, takes place in the 1960’s in a universe where the Nazi’s were victorious in World War II. The trailer makes it clear that the game does not take itself too seriously, and even teases a trip to the moon.

Wolfenstein: The New Order will be released on May 20 for Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC.

Moon Chronicles Gets North American Release Date

Moon Chronicles 3DS Release DateMoon Chronicles, an enhanced remake of Renegade Kid’s DS first-person shooter game Moon, is set to hit the 3DS eshop on 15 May in North America. The game will be released in episodic installments, with episode 1 being the largest and most expensive of the four part “season”, reportedly clocking in at 4 hours long and priced at $8.99.

The following episodes will be made available as DLC for $1.99 each and will have about 2 hours worth of gameplay per episode.

A second season is also planned for 2015 with ‘all-new story content’. Meanwhile Jools Watsham, co-founder of Renegade Kid, has stated that the first season will not be released in Europe until all episodes are finished.

Now that Episode 1 is approved, we’re working hard to finish the remaining episodes (2, 3, and 4) in one focused effort. Our plan is to submit the game to NOE when we have all episodes completed, so a confident release plan for Europe can be scheduled.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Release Date and Gameplay Trailer Revealed

Bioware’s hotly anticipated RPG game Dragon Age: Inquisition has been given an official release date. The third game in the popular series will be hitting stores on October 7 in North America and October 10 in Europe. It will be playable on Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. You can see the trailer below.

Bioware will be showing off the game in more detail at this year’s E3 in June.

Kirby:Triple Deluxe New Gameplay Trailer

Nintendo has released a new trailer highlighting the gameplay of Kirby: Triple Deluxe on the Nintendo 3DS. Titled “Wow Kirby, You’re Sure Exciting”, the trailer demonstrates Kirby’s ability to switch between the background and foreground using a warp star, as well as the wide array of abilities that the little pink dude can acquire by inhaling the world’s many colourful enemies. Kirby can now inhale much larger objects, such as the train seen in this trailer, by swallowing the miracle fruit power-up which turns him into ‘Hypernova Kirby’.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe launches on May 2nd in North America and May 16th in Europe.
