Star Fox Confirmed for Wii U
A new Star Fox game has been confirmed for the Wii U by Shigeru Miyamoto. The news leaked before Nintendo’s E3 Digital Event via an interview with TIME.
Players will use the motion controls of the GamePad to control Fox’s ship which can also transform into a Landmaster Tank. The GamePad will display a first-person cockpit view, while a third-person view of the action is displayed on the TV screen.
There will also be a new two player mode where players can control a helicopter and a mini robot.
In addition to Star Fox Miyamoto is working on two other Wii U titles – Project Giant Robot and Project Guard. Little information about these games is known so far but Project Giant Robot involves building custom robots to do battle with each other, while Project Guard sees you attempting to ward off a robot invasion.
