Sega has officially confirmed that it’s 3D Classics range that was previously only available in Japan will be coming to Europe and North America. The first two titles in the series will be hitting the Nintendo 3DS eshop before the end of November. The 3D classics range is made up of eight classic games from the Sega Mega Drive with added 3D visuals. You can check out the full release schedule below:
28th November – 3D Space Harrier, 3D Super Hang-On
5th December – 3D Sonic the Hedgehog, 3D Altered Beast
12th December – 3D Ecco the Dolphin, 3D Galaxy Force II
19th December – 3D Shinobi III, 3D Streets of Rage
The games will cost $5.99/€4.99/£4.49 depending on your region. You can see footage of the titles in action at 5.13 in the video below.
Titanfall will remain an exclusive to Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC “for the life of the title”, according to Blake Jorgensen, CFO at Electronic Arts who was speaking at EA’s financial call. This was reiterated by Microsoft’s Major Nelson who tweeted the following:
We will have to wait until March next year to see whether Titanfall is worth all the hype it’s currently receiving, and how much of a blow today’s news will be to anyone planning on buying a Playstation 4.
After releasing a brief teaser on Instagram last week 20th Century Fox has now released the first full trailer for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, watch it below:
It looks like it could well be the most epic X-Men movie to date as the cast of the original movies collides with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class. The movie will be released on May 22nd 2014 in Europe and May 23rd in the US.
Activision has released the trailer above revealing a new multiplayer mode for it’s forthcoming title Call Of Duty: Ghosts. Similar to the ‘Zombies’ mode of past installments ‘Extinction’ is a 1-4 player co-op experience which Activision says will feature a ‘unique blend of fast-paced survival action, FPS base defense, scavenging and class leveling.’ The most noticeable difference from trailer is that you will now be battling hordes of alien invaders rather than the undead.
Call Of Duty Ghosts will be available on Playstation 3, PC, Wii U and Xbox 360 from November 5th and will also be available at launch for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
After teasing it yesterday, Marvel has now released the full official trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The trailer gives us our first glimpse of Cap’s new ally The Falcon as well as the titular Winter Soldier himself. Take a look for yourself below.

After the cataclysmic events in New York with The Avengers, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” finds Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, living quietly in Washington, D.C. and trying to adjust to the modern world. But when a S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague comes under attack, Steve becomes embroiled in a web of intrigue that threatens to put the world at risk. Joining forces with the Black Widow, Captain America struggles to expose the ever-widening conspiracy while fighting off professional assassins sent to silence him at every turn. When the full scope of the villainous plot is revealed, Captain America and the Black Widow enlist the help of a new ally, the Falcon. However, they soon find themselves up against an unexpected and formidable enemy—the Winter Soldier.
The movie stars Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford and Samuel L. Jackson and is released on 28 March in the UK and 4 April in the US.
Sony has confirmed that it will allow Playstation 4 users to go by their real name when using the console’s online services. The option will be available from the system’s launch which is in contrast to the Xbox One – the feature will not be available until a later date on Microsoft’s new console.
Gamers are of course under no obligation to reveal their real names and can continue to use a chosen username if they prefer. The thinking behind allowing players to use their real names is to make online gaming more appealing and accessible to wider audiences and create greater integration with social networks.
Decide for yourself how you want to be known online when the PS4 releases, on November 15 in the US and November 29 in the UK.
Nintendo of Japan has released this new six minute trailer for Super Mario 3D World demonstrating the multiplayer aspects of the game as well as the wide array of creative power-ups you can utilize throughout the game. Excitement has been building for Mario’s latest adventure in recent weeks as Nintendo releases more and more information after the title was met with some cynicism upon it’s initial announcement. Judging from this latest footage the game is shaping up very nicely indeed.
Super Mario 3D World will be released on 22nd November in the US and 29th November in the UK, exclusively on Wii U.
Marvel has unveiled the first official poster or Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Marvel has also announced that a teaser trailer for the film will be released tomorrow exclusively on iTunes Trailers.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released on April 4th in the US and May 2nd in the UK.
Microsoft has decided keep it’s ‘Games with Gold‘ offer running indefinitely. The promotion allows Xbox Live Gold members to download two games a month for free. Games offered through the service so far have included Assassins Creed 2, Fable 3 and Dead Rising 2. Currently subscribers have until October 31 to download Halo 3 for nothing.
It had previously been announced that the promotion would run until the end of the year however it will now continue beyond that. Microsoft has not yet stated whether the service will be available on Xbox One which launches on November 22.
The BBC has released a special trailer celebrating 50 years of Doctor Who. It features all eleven incarnations of the Doctor as well as many famous companions and enemies from the show’s long history. The trailer does not actually contain any footage from The Day of The Doctor but is nevertheless sure to get fans excited for the anniversary episode.
There is just over a month left to wait now until The Day of The Doctor is broadcast simultaneously around the globe on November 23.
